About

In the beginning God..

We have a glorious and exciting God!

There is no one like Him  – and yet the world seems to be drifting away on its own course.

This site is the result of what I believe to be a directive from God.

That sounds dramatic, but it came whilst I was looking at creating blogs for my own expression, and His  ministry through me.

God’s word was for me to create a blog, the sole purpose of which was to bring Glory to Him, in the midst of all the other things that were happening on the Internet.

As such, there will be no prayer requests only an acknowledgement of Who He is, with praise and thanks.

This is my first reponse –  based on the words of Scripture.

Submissions from others will be gladly considered – provided their only focus is to honour God – the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit.

So, if you would like to bring glory to God,  to see Him honoured in this way, and to trust Him to use it in ways we could not imagine, then join in.  Use the comment box below, using your own words and, should you wish, Bible verses.

May God use it, and direct it, to His glory alone.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was  in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen.

  1. I was reading AW Tozer’s The Pursuit of God and seemed to start experiencing what he was talking about regarding the immediacy of God’s presence. If you know something about this I would love to hear. thanks.

    1. God is indeed ever-present – whether we sense Him there or not. To have such an awareness of presence is a wonderful gift – we must ensure though that we are always seeking God and not just the feelings that we might have. C.S.Lewis said it like this, “Only when your whole attention and desire are focussed on something else … does the ‘thrill’ arise. It is a by-product. Otherwise it would turn religion into a self-caressing luxury.” Having said that it is not to be taken lightly for God is allowing you to be aware of Him in a new and special way. So pause and enjoy Him.
There will be times when we do not have such an awareness – that does not mean that God has withdrawn or that He is displeased with us for His promise is to be with us always. If we did sense His presence all the time it would lose its preciousness.
Keep your focus on Him and allow Him to bless you as and when He will, and treasure it.
      I hope this helps.
God bless you deeply today 🙂
